Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the University of Georgia E-Learning Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the University of Georgia E-Learning Platform (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for students, parents, Instructors, and authorized staff who have been registered or enrolled with the University of Georgia. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account details up to date.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Immediately notifying the University of any unauthorized use of your account

The University reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in suspicious activity.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
  • Upload or distribute malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, Instructors, or staff
  • Engage in any form of academic dishonesty, cheating, or plagiarism
  • Use the Platform for commercial purposes without prior written permission

5. Academic Integrity

All users are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic honesty. Any form of cheating, plagiarism, impersonation, or unauthorized collaboration may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the Platform and academic programs.

6. Course Content & Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, documents, assessments, and other content available on the Platform are the intellectual property of the University of Georgia or its licensed partners. You may access and use this content solely for personal educational purposes. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or republish any content without prior written consent.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal information as described in that policy.

8. Platform Availability

While we strive to keep the Platform available 24/7, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The University may perform maintenance, updates, or experience technical issues that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime.

9. Termination

The University of Georgia reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason deemed necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform and its users.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The University of Georgia makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the Platform for any particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the University of Georgia and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
